Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Curt CrossWing Gooseneck Anchor Plate. This is going to easily install over the gooseneck ball in your truck bed. And then it's gonna provide these safety chain hooks for you or loops for your safety chain hooks to attached to and so it's gonna provide a backup connection for your cross wing fifth wheel hitch, making sure that if for some reason your coupler we're to become disconnected from your gooseneck ball, you'll still have those safety chain attachments to make sure that your trailer's gonna stay connected to your vehicle. This does have a nice strong construction with a black powder coat finished that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion. It does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
Like I said, very simple to get installed. You just put this down over your gooseneck ball and then you'll install your cross wing onto the ball and that tension is going to hold this in place and give you that nice, solid connection. 2 stars for quality, but 1 star for mediocre functionality.The Crosswing gooseneck hitch does not come in contact with this plate at all, therefore the plate is able to just flop around beneath the hitch ball assembly. Not confidence-inspiring.
