Curt Fifth Wheel Custom Installation Brackets Work with Curt Base Rails and Many 5th Wheel Hitches

Will these custom brackets work with any fifth wheel rail system or do you have to purchase the curt e5 hitch?

The Curt Fifth Wheel Installation Bracket Kit - 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, item # C16422, is just the under bed installation brackets. You will also need the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails - Gloss Finish, item # C16104 or Matte Finish, item # C16204, to complete the fifth wheel installation on your 2009 Dodge Ram Truck.
With the above mentioned items you will be able to use Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley and Husky Hitches.
I would recommend the Curt E5 Fifth Wheel Trailer hitch with R16 Roller, item # 16516, for the most economical setup. I have included some installation videos and information on towing with short bed trucks for you to review.
