Ellen: Yeah. Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement faring lead for your Bulldog Winch UTV winch. So this is going to be a direct replacement from Bulldog Winch for your electric trailer winch and it's just going to be that roller fairing for your rope to roll against. So if yours has gotten worn out or damaged, this is going to be a great replacement for you. So we can take a little closer look at it and go over the specs to make sure that this is going to be the right one to meet your needs.
This is going to fit the BDW15004 winch, which is available here at etrailer.com. It's going to have the four zinc plated rollers. These are going to be steel rollers, so they're going to roll and help to reduce any kind of drag or friction as that rope comes in and out, and also to help resist any kind of wear on the rope itself.The bracket that this sits on is going to be a gray powder coated steel and it's going to help to hold that in place. Typically, this is going to be mounted to the winch plate, not the actual winch itself. It does not come with any hardware to attach this to the winch plate, so you'll need to reuse your hardware that came off of your original, if not pick up some new separately.
As far as the size, this measures 8 inches in width and then about two or excuse me, about 3 and 9/16th of an inch in height, if we go from the edges of the bolt and the nut, the actual bracket on its own is about 2 and 7/8th of an inch. The depth is about 2 and 5 or is 2 and 5/16th. The distance between the mounting holes, center to center is right at six and a half inches.This does have a one year limited warranty and that's about all there is to it for our look at the replacement roller fairlead for your Bulldog ATV or UTV winch. Holes were off slightly and easy to adjust to factory mount. Works well!
