Today we'll be taking a quick look at the safety valve for a Bulldog Winch air tank. This is going to keep your air tank from getting over pressurized and then causing an accidental rupture. This is going to let that excess pressure out through the air valve here. It automatically opens up at 145 Psi and this is going to be great for those tanks that need to operate at about 130 Psi. It's made of solid brass. We don't have to worry about any kind of corrosion or rusting.
It's going to stay looking nice for a long time and usable for a long time as well. The threads here are an NTP thread of a quarter inch. It measures about one and three quarter inches long if we go from the ends of the threads to the top of this opening here.It has the little ring on there as well and that makes it about two and an eighth inches, but of course this can rotate around. And then it's about half an inch in diameter if we go from the flat sides of that little hex portion. It has a one year limited warranty from Bulldog Winch.
And that's going to do it for our quick look at the safety valve for Bulldog Winch air tank.
