Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox short towbar two inch hitch connector. This is going to replace the hitch connector for your Blue Ox Avail, Apollo or Ascent towbars. And on your screen I am including the model numbers of those towbars that this is going to work with. And this does include everything that you see here. It's going to include the receiver, the pin and clip, and the hardware that you see here. Let me give you a view of this at another angle, give you the view of the top and of the bottom here.

So, this is directly from Blue Ox, so you can proceed with confidence knowing that it's going to fit those Avail, Apollo or Ascent towbars. And I'd like to give you a few measurements. First, I just wanna measure the shank here. So, lining up my tape measure. Let me actually go ahead and turn this here the other way.

It'll be a little bit easier to line up the measurement. So, looking at just the shank first, as you can see, we are sitting right at about eight and 11/16ths inches long on that shank. And in case you're interested, the overall length, we're sitting right about 15 and three quarters inches long from end-to-end. Now, this does have a weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. However, as you no doubt know with any towing setup, your overall towing capacity is only as strong as your weakest component.
