Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review tcma1

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

These are worth getting. Its faster and easier to install the chains since they make sure the chains dont move on the tire.

One of the arms snapped on the first installation. Not happy with the quality of these.

To be honest I have experienced this myself. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

Excellent tire chains, and incredible service!! I highly recommend trailer…and these tire chains!!

by:

Delivery was excellent; chains and tensioners arrived one day ahead of the promised date. They appear very well made, the price was competitive and shipping was free. etrailer communicated very well all through the process, from ordering to notification of shipping to follow-up after receipt. I did a dry-run installation and it went exactly as the online video showed. Looking forward to trying them out in snow! I would recommend etrailer to anyone in need of snow chains.

Chains are a little loose on my tires, so the snubbers are needed. They work well. I haven't tried them at speed though.

by:

Theses are very easy to install,,takes up the slack /chain rumble,,I also cut four excess links off to customize my 265x75x16" tires fit,,not necessary,,but works for me.

by:

I purchased four of these 'just-in-case' chain adjusters as an alternative or backup to the four chain and spring chain adjusters I already purchased. These adjusters are what I call 'insurance' as we begin traveling full-time for our third year in a row in our truck and camper trailer. I have not had to use these adjusters but I'm glad to have them on board.

by:

Worked great for my tire chains. Kept the chains tight from slipping.

by:

Not needed but added to tire chains help keep tight. Heavt duty and took abuse of Mt.

Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

by:

great tensioners, i used them on my tru ck

by:

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

by:

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

by:

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory.
Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters.
I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

2017 Tacoma_Got the tire chains today. Test fitted them and they seem to fit well. Actually have 8 inches on the ground and got to crawl around a bit. Good customer service now and in the past. I recommend etrailer for sure.

  • Tire Chain Recommendation for 255/60-20 Tires on 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee
According to Konig, there isn't a K-Summit chain available that's compatible with your 255/60-20 tire size. We do offer chains that will fit that tire size, but nothing that offers rim protection. The easiest to install chains would be a cam-tensioner style chain like the Titan Chain # TC2228CAM. Even though the chains offer integrated cams to tighten them, I'd still recommend using a tensioner like part # TCMA2 to keep the chains tight to the tire. What I've seen folks do in the past...

  • Are Tensioners Recommended For Titan Tire Chains
We sure do. The tensioners will help keep the chains tight to the tire and centered. They're pretty inexpensive and easy to used, so there's really no good reason not to use them. For the # TC1138 Twist Link chains, I'd recommend using the # TCMA2 tensioners which fit 14-24 inch rims. The owner's manual for your 2006 Toyota Sienna recommends class S chains like the # TC1138, and goes on to recommend they be installed on the front wheels only. I've linked to product videos for the chains...

  • Titan V-Bar Snow Tire Chains for 245/75-16 Tires
Although they do offer a fit, the Titan # TC2828 chain you'd looked at won't fit a 245/75-16 tire. I'd recommend either the Titan Snow Tire Chains with V-bar links, part # TC2821 or the same chain with cam tighteners, part # TC2821CAM. The V-bar chains are excellent for deep snow or ice. The V-bars do a great job of biting into slick surfaces for superior traction. Even if you go with the model that features the cam tighteners, it's still a good idea to use a set of tensioners like # TCMA2...

  • Recommended Tire Cables and Chains for a 315/70R17 Tire
We do have a set of tire cables that fit your 315/70R17 tires. They're the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Steel Rollers, part # TC3031. The steel rollers provide a very smooth ride and they have a maximum speed rating of 30 mph. I've linked to a video review of these cables for you to look at. I recommend getting the cable tighteners mentioned in the video as tire cables can lose some of their efficacy if they're too loose. They are part # TCMA2. With regards to...

  • Recommended Snow Tire Chains for 2005 Ford F-350 Dually 4WD
For your Ford F-350 dually 4WD, you do not need to use snow tire chains on the front. I cannot access your owner's manual, but most manuals say not to use them on the front tires of a truck. I recommend the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Dual Tires - Ladder Pattern - Twist Link - 1 Axle Set # TC4231CAM if you have 245/75-17, 265/70-17, or 275/65-18 size dually tires. I also recommend the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks - 1 Pair # TCMA2.

  • Low Profile Snow Tire Chains for 275/60R20 Size Tires
For the 275/60R20 tires on your 2021 Chevy Tahoe, I recommend going with a Class S designated chain in order to get the most clearance possible. Class S means they are low-profile on the tires for limited wheel well clearance; I do recommend checking your owner's manual to ensure you can use snow tire chains. If you live or travel in a place that requires a chain or traction device, the best option for a low-profile chain is the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC3029. These Class...

I recommend the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains # TC3231 for your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. These ladder pattern twist link chains will provide great traction in deep snow and mud. You will need the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster # TCMA2 to keep the chains tight on the tires. We do have the Konig Snow Tire Chains # KON74FR which is a division of Thule. The Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCMA2 will help to ensure that the chains remain tight on your tires so they are not slipping in between adjustments. These chains are rated for deep snow or mud use and the twisted links are specifically designed for good traction on or off road.
