Recommended Tire Chains For 2009 Acura MDX With 255/55-18 Tires
Question:
I am looking to buy snow chains for my 2009 MDX. My tire size is 255/55/R18. What snow chains would you recommend? I was looking Glacier chains PW-1046?

Expert Reply:
Due to the limited clearance around the tires on your MDX, a Class S tire chain is recommended in the owner's manual.
I recommend cable-style chains like part # TC2029. These are Class S compatible and will work great on your tires.
I also recommend using chain adjusters like part # TCMA2. These keep the tire chains tight and secure.
Per the owner's manual tire chains are to be used on the front tires only.
