Recommended Snow Tire Chains For 2016 Toyota Corolla
Question:
2016 Toyota Corolla Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Steel Rollers - 1 Pair Is this for one tire or 2? And when chain laws are in affect. Do i need chains for all 4 tires or just the front 2 on a front wheel drive car? Thank you so much!

The chain laws vary from state to state, so you may want to check with which states you are driving through. The snow chains come in pairs, so you will have two chains for your drive axle. Since your vehicle is front wheel drive, you will only need chains on your front tires. I looked your owners manual up online and found there are recommendations for each size tire. Class S will meet these requirements.
The Titan Cable Chains, ladder pattern will meet all you legal criteria and are Class S compatible, so they are a nice economic option, but will not allow you the same benefits. They will help on light snow, but will require adjusting and rubber adjusters like # TCMA2 for proper adjustment and function. These chains are made of low carbon steel, so they will work well, but will also wear down more quickly than other metals. I'll give you a recommendation for a superior tire chain and then the Titan option for each size tire option for your 2016 Toyota Corolla so you can determine the best fit for your driving needs.
If you have 195/65-15 tires, I recommend the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link # TH04115080. This are a quick and easy installation, are made of high quality manganese nickel alloy steel and come with a storage case with instructions and a kneeling mat.
The Titan Cable Snow Tire Chains for this size are # TC1030.
If you have 205/55-16 tires, I recommend the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link # TH01221090. These chains have a patented self-centering and self tensioning system. They require 12 mm internal clearance so they meet the class S compatibility. The Titan Cable Chains for this size are # TC1540.
If you have 215/45-17 tires, I recommend the Thule Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit - Size K22, # TH02230K22. These are the same chains as listed above in a different size. These chains sit on tire treads only so they leave your wheels untouched. They are made of high-quality manganese nickel alloy steel.
The Titan Cable chains for this size are also the # TC1034.
