Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Very happy with my purchase, hopefully I will never have to use the spare tire, but I'm glad I have it if I do need it. I purchased this tire for a spare for my new utility trailer. This is a Karrier / Load Star tire. I have had theses before on my boat trailer and have had good service from them. The trailer dealer wanted $150 plus tax for a spare with a name I’ve never heard of. I saved over $50! Excellent price, super-fast free shipping and no sales tax! What a deal! Etrailer is a great seller to purchase from.
Absolutely horrible!!!! Sent me wrong size alternate tire and wheel. Then told me it was my fault and wouldn’t exchange. Never do business with this shit company again!!

The product was a spare trailer tire. I have not used it yet because my tires have not gone flat. The spare tire is still excellent quality and on standby.

Awesome product. I have been running this tire/wheel combination on my trailer for more than 10 years. Very durable and dependable tires.The cost was $10 more that It would cost to order same product from nearest trailer supplier; 50 Miles away. So, less than cost of fuel to pick-up, after waiting a week to come in.
This assembly arrived at my door in 4 days. Perfect.

My tires and wheels are still performing very well as expected.
The customer support was outstanding!! I was assisted in choosing the correct lug hole pattern for the trailer I have. I was given the procedure to identify the correct distance between the lug holes. The tire and wheel arrived in great condition and quickly!! It fits perfectly!! Thank you for your assistance!!!
