Today we're going to be taking a look at the front hanger for double-eye springs. This hanger provides the attachment point for a leaf-spring. The hanger suspends the spring from the trailer frame. This is configured for use as a front hanger. 1 hanger is included. It's made from a really nice steel construction.
Very strong, durable design. It's going to have a raw finish. This is designed to be welded to the trailer frame. On top, you're going to notice that it has 2 holes. These are not for a bolt-on installation. Those holes are there if the installer wants to do a button weld instead of, or in addition to, welding around the outside of the hanger. The hanger's going to have a height of 1-1/2".
That measurement's taken from the center of the mount hole to the top of the hanger. You can see there. It's going to measure right on 1-1/2". This is designed for 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs with 9/16" diameter eyes. It's going to work with 9/16" diameter bolt.
Hardware's not included. That is provided . Or needs to be provided separately. Overall length of the unit, edge to edge, we're looking at 3". We'll take a measurement of the external width.
We're looking at about 2-5/16". Internal width. It's going to be 1-7/8". Overall height, top to bottom, we're looking at about 2-1/16". All the holes on the unit are going to measure 9/16" in diameter. That's going to do it for today's look at the front hanger for double-eye springs.

Designed to suspend your double-eye leaf spring.Not bent enough. Open end measures over 2”. Not a huge deal but would be nice to have them closer to what they need to be before welding. I will have to tighten them up before full weld.
Just as good as the ones from the big box stores but way cheaper.
This is a multiple product review. The long bracket are good. The shorter brackets are of the same good quality. The issue is using the short brackets with the shackles. The shorter brackets could be narrower so the shackle line up better with spring and other longer bracket. We used washers to make it align better. The greasing bolts are good, but could be longer. so we could only use 2 of the 6 and had to use normal grade 8 bolts.
Trailer Doesn't Have broken springs anymore. Fun stuff! Good product, fit properly, no complaints.
