This is a great product. I really appreciate the quality. This was also a car I was having difficulty finding a trailer hitch for. So thanks again for a good product.

by:

I got a hitch for my Honda accord it was extremely easy to install took less time than they estimate after I installed it I bought a trailer and have hauled various things already with no problem I would recommend e trailer to anyone

by:

I installed the trailer wiring and a friend helped install the hitch. Etrailer website is excellent. I got the right items on time and the fit is better than my wife’s dealer installed hitch. Videos on the etrailer site are clear and correct. One caveat, don’t try installing the hitch without at least one other person and having a way to lift the car(we used ramps) is a great help. The only possible way etrailer could be any more helpful is if they could recruit some local shops that would be willing to do the installation. I especially like having my wiring in the passenger compartment when not in use. It keeps it out of the Salt here in the northeast.

by:

Fits perfectly, does exactly what I need it to. Can't wait to use it for the first time.

by:

Well made, excellent price! Can’t wait to install the ball and hitch the trailer on.

by:

I am pleased with the tow hitch I received to use with my drawtite receiver hitch. I have it primarily as a way to move my Demco dolly if I have to , and it is fine for that light duty use. It was shipped well packed and was delivered with the receiver hitch. I am very satisfied with the drawtite products and the service provided by etrailer.

Yes, everything is working perfectly.

by:

Exactly what it should be, and nearly impossible to find in a brick and mortar retail shop.

by:

This is my second hitch order from etrailer. Nice hardware - easy to install. The tutorials & video instructions are quite good too.

A year later everything from etrailer works perfectly.

by:

Fit was perfect, installation very easy for both the trailer hitch and wire harness (simple followed instructions). It is used for light duty, pulling a kayak and trailer with a total weight less than 600 pounds. Also is used with a bike rack. It works great for my use. On the trailer the ground for lights were run all the way to the the wiring harness, in-other words, the lights were NOT grounded to the trailer (to much problem with improper grounding).

by:

Prompt shipping, easy install, good follow up to purchase. All is well with this hitch. Thanks.

Great company! A company that touches base a year after purchase is impressive! Thanks

This product works great for my 2004 Nissan Altima. I would purchase from etrailer.com again.

After a year I have had no problems and the quality is still excellent. I would recommend etrailer.com to anyone looking for trailer equipment.

by:

This is the stinger needed for the 2013-2016 Dodge Dart if you plan on using it to pull a trailer. The car sits quite low from the factory so the stinger is installed upside down and still will drag on the ground when pulling out of a sloped driveway.

by:

Being completely clueless and brand new to the towing/trailer world, I ordered mismatched parts. Roger R immediately reached out to me to ensure I had what I needed to properly install my hitch. I'm completely impressed with the customer service and affordability of etrailer.com and will recommend it to anyone... now to just get the parts installed and go get on the water!!

by:

Rcvd my hitch today (one day earlier than predicted by etrailer when I ordered...well done!). Everything was received as expected/requested.
Crawled under the car and started installation immediately. Piece of cake really; although some people would struggle with the tight space, 13 year old car, and need to clean threads, and remove caulk/undercoat in order to achieve "hole alignment".
Hyundai also did a great job by having pre-threaded welded nuts in place.
So far.... a great product received in time to use this weekend (as was my plan).

Great job and great product by etrailer.
Also, the website was easy to use and the videos quite helpful.
I will be back!
Thank you,
2008 Hyundai Sonata

Well a draw bar is a draw bar but Etrailer delivered mine in two days at half the price of my local store who claimed it wasn't possible to get a 9" drawbar with a 2 1/8" height, which is what I need for my motorcycle trailer.
I also bought my Draw Tite hitch for my Mazda3 at Etrailer and that arrived in less than a week and fit the car perfectly. Excellent hardware as well.

by:

The instructions with the Accord say that "Hitch should only be used in the RISE position" with no further description, simple enough to search, but would have been nice for them to provide a picture or say that the rise position is basically where the hitch ball attachment angles upward and the ball sits on top of that... the hitch ball mount is intuitively used in the drop or angled downward position most of the time.

Everything came as described and packed well. I did not even have to lower the exhaust. Fit right in and with only 3 attachment points, I had the hitch on in a little over 30 minutes! I have towed several times with it so far and seems to be doing well. Thanks!

by:

I ordered products online. I had trouble with the order it was my fault pushing buttons. I called them and spike to someone and she told the order and said it had went threw fine...it was shipped ups easy tracking the order. It came 1 day earlier than etrailer said it would. Ups deliver to my front door....everything I ordered was in a well packed box. Product was clean and everything to install......i haven't installed it yet but planning on the next month... I will updated on the fit and provide finished install.... I am very pleased and will order and would recommend them from the professional services they have provided.... Thanks

by:

I like this bar because it is longer and projects a little farther out than the short bars. On my car it needs a longer length to clear the rear bumper cover. Well made and no rust.

by:

I made a canoe trailer that tows behind the wife's hi-bred. Hitch works great.

by:

Exactly the right hitch for my installation. Ball height and extension length are perfect. Quality is exactly what I expected. Everything is straight, welded nicely, paint is good and no rust!

by:

Purchased this for my 15 Tdi Jetta. Installation was a breeze. Don’t have to have a ton of mechanical knowledge to do this project even though I am inclined.
You’ll want some petro lube for the exhaust hanger and go ahead and cut off the plastic center mounting tab for the rear bumper. Other than that, it was super easy by myself.

by:

Drawbar appears to be of excellent quality. However I don't like the pin and clip design. The pin has a groove rather than a hole in it for the pin to clip though like my older drawbar had for my Escort. I'm afraid the clip might get knocked off by the nearby safety chain hook. For now I will use my old pin and clip and try to find a new one with a hole for the clip.

by:

I ordered two hitches and harnesses for a Mazda 3 and Honda CRV and while the products were everything they were supposed to be I was very impressed with the two customer service reps I dealt with. Very polite and efficient. This company has it together.

  • What is a Drawbar and Why Would I Need One?
The hitch drawbar or ball mount is the part that slides into the hitch receiver that has the trailer ball bolted to it. You'll need the ball mount if you plan on towing, but if you're only using the hitch as a mount for a hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier, you won't need it. If you need a ball mount that's compatible with the Curt Class I hitch, part # C11256, I'd recommend # 3592. For 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball. For a trailer...
