Video Transcript for Review of Fulton - Trailer Jack,Camper Jack - P9012-00

Today we're gonna take a quick look at the Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jacks. This is going to allow you to weld on that marine jack onto your trailer, we'll have this tab at the top so we can get that welded on nice and securely. We'll also get our lock nut, and washer, or spacer for our jack to be mounted onto the bracket. Now the distance between our mounting holes is going to be three inches, going from center to center. And that's going to be the same in both directions there. Our tab at the top for welding, is going to be about two and a half inches wide. And about three quarters of an inch long, going from where the bracket ends here, so what would be actually available to you overlaying on the trailer.

That would be the overhang going on your trailer there. Our bracket overall is going to be about four and a half inches wide, and four and a half inches tall. Now again, this is going to work with your Fulton Bolt Through Swivel Marine Jack, as well as a couple of the other Fulton Marine Jacks. So you can definitely pick those up here at etrailor.com, as well as a lot of replacement parts for any of those jacks, either the gear kit or anything else like that. So definitely check out etrailor.com for any of your jack needs. And that's gonna do it for our look at the Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jacks.

This pc replaced my original one that came on my boat trailer. It was a perfect match to my new dolly wheel that I had bought and wanted to install on my trailer.

by:

etrailer very easy to deal with, shipment was on time, the plate for the jack did not come with the nut, called customer service and the nut was shipped right out lickedy split.

by:

Awesome customer service

by:

Excellent service as usual from etrailer. I was able to get a replacement part and my trailer on the road quickly.

by:

This part was exactly as described & exactly what I needed to re-purpose our boat jack over to our utility trailer. Simply welded to the trailer & we were good to go. What I really appreciated was the exceptional communication & customer service from George J. at etrailer. The part was back-ordered from the manufacturer for a few weeks & George kept me apprised of the ship dates. I have yet to experience better service on the net. THX George!

Well build product. Had a new jack but didn't have the mount to weld on. I checked a lot of different sites to find this and This was the best price and the only place I could get it in under 2 months.

works great,very solid mount

by:

it fit like it should.

by:

The product is as advertised, service was very good, and delivery was sooner than expected.

by:

Product shipped without the spacer or nut, called support and they confirmed the supplier shipped it to them wrong. Sent me a kit that included the nut, spacer, and bolt. Very happy with how quickly this was resolved. Very sturdy.

by:

Works if you or someone you know can weld. Believe they make a bolt on unit if you can’t. Not much more you can say about it unless it didn’t fit the jack which it does.

by:

I was ready to buy a new Jack until I talked to your tech dept. The bushing that came with the kit was all that was needed. The jack is now like new, does not rattle or shake and cranks with ease. Thanks!!!

by:

Excellent upgrade for my utility trailer, can't say enough good things about trailer thanks again

by:

Partc was a prefect replacement for my broken jack

by:

I seem to order trailer parts from etrailer a couple of times a month for the past 18 months. Never had a problem and they have plenty of options regardless of what your looking for. Great service with great products = happy customer

by:

Fast shipping, Arrived on time, Part was welded on trailer and is functioning well!

by:

I think the product is probably ok. It wasn’t exactly what I thought it was. I did make it work with a few modifications. The product was shipped and received just fine. I really don’t think I am in a position to rate this product but in order to submit the requested review it says I must select a rating.

by:

Works great and fit fine on my 2007 Dorsey trailer.

by:

Product was exact fit but. Needed bolt on style not welded return process was a snap very happy with customer service , would purchase more products thanks

by:

  • Bolt-On Trailer Swivel jack that Mounts to a Trailer Using 1 Center Bolt
The Fulton jack # FXP15, is not meant to be mounted through the center bolt. It is designed to use the included mounting hardware that fits around the trailer frame. This will allow it to operate correctly and support the weight it is rated for (1,500 pounds). You can use the Fulton jack, # FXP15W. This unit requires a mounting plate, # P9012-00, that welds to the trailer frame.

  • Tips for Removing Nut on Jack Mounting Bracket P9012-00 when the Jack is In the Way
Since the jack tube is blocking the nut on mounting bracket # P9012-00 your best option is to use a box end wrench with an offset. So instead of a straight wrench it would have a bend in it. This will allow you to get a straighter angle with which to turn the nut. You can get offset wrenches anywhere tools are sold such as Sears, Home Depot, Lowe's and so on.

  • Will Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack Replace Fulton Jack
Thanks for the photo and based on that I can tell you the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP15W will absolutely work as a replacement for your current Fulton Magnum trailer jack. While this jack looks like it could measure up to your mount, you may find that you need the Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jack # P9012-00 which has mounting holes that measure 3" on center.

  • Disassembling and Replacing Fulton Magnum Series Trailer Jack
The roll pins that are used in jacks like the Fulton model on your trailer can be difficult to remove because they fit very tightly into place. I just recommend using a punch that is a bit smaller in diameter than the pin and then tap it with a hammer until it loosens up and can be taken out. If you need to replace the unit, we do offer a nice selection of Fulton 1,200 pound trailer jacks that should be very similar to what you have. I recommend looking at the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine...

  • Is Bolt-Through and Weld-On the Same for a Fulton Swivel Marine Jack
In regards to the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack, part # FXP10W0301, bolt-through refers to how the jack attaches to the mounting bracket and weld-on refers to how the mounting bracket attaches to the frame. If the mounting bracket looks like the Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jack part # P9012-00 you will be good to go.

  • Replacement for Fulton Magnum Series Jack on Boat Trailer
The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # F1411300301 will definitely work for you as a replacement for the current Fulton Magnum Series jack you have, as it will mount to the bracket already on your trailer, as that bracket will be the Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jack # P9012-00. This Fulton jack has a 1,500 lb capacity, and while I completely understand thinking that the higher capacity of the jack, the better, that just isn't the case, because trailer jacks nowadays have...

  • Recommendations For Replacement Jack With 1000 Pound Capacity and Tapered Collar Bracket
It looks like the item you selected, Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack, part # FXP10W0301, would be a good replacement jack. On the back plate of this jack there is a raised or welded on circular piece of metal, but by what you described I do not think it will work with your existing bracket. I browsed through the website using the specifications you provided for your jack, I found a jack that should work for you. The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack w/ Caster, part # FXP10, which...

  • Swivel Trailer Jack with a Wheel for a 2007 Viking Pop-up Camper
The Fulton jack, # F1411300301, is a weld-on application and you will need mounting bracket # P9012-00. The mounting bracket is the part that gets welded to the trailer frame. Any welding should be done by a qualified professional welder. It can be mounted on the trailer near the coupler (where the tongue weight is lowest) anywhere you have space. A 1500 pound capacity can handle a tongue weight of 1500 pounds. It is very unlikely that any pop-up camper will have a tongue weight that exceeds...

  • What Mounting Bracket Is Needed For The Fulton XLT Swivel Jack F141133?
I wish it would, but the Jack Mounting Bracket # P9012-00 you were looking at has pin holes that are all 3" apart on center where the Fulton XLT Bolt-Thru Swivel Trailer Jack # F141133 uses a mounting bracket that the lower holes are 3" apart on center, and the upper holes are 3" apart on center, but the upper and lower holes are 3-5/8" apart on center so it will not work. • Replacement Swivel Jack for a Champion Boat Trailer
Fulton jack # FTJ120W0301 is going to be your best bet. The Magnum series jacks are no longer made and were an entry level jack so you might not be able to find an exact match to fit the mount. However, this Fulton jack comes with a mount should you need it and a professional welder could weld it onto your trailer for a nominal fee. If your old jack uses the bolt style mounting bracket # P9012-00, then you could use jack # FXP15W. The Magnum series jacks used two different style mounting...

  • Availability of Trailer Jack to Fit with Flat Weld-On Bracket from Shelby Jack
I recently had someone else with this same situation and when I reached out to Fulton my contact said that the Shelby connection just isn't used any more so to replace your jack you can use the Fulton Marine Jack # FXP100W0301 that you referenced, and then have the Mounting Bracket # P9012-00 welded on to complete the install.

  • Replacement Swivel Jack For 2003 185 Searay Bowrider With Shorlandr Trailer
Your current jack is an interesting hybrid. It is a bolt-on receiver with a bolt-thru swivel. Normally the bolt-thru jacks have a welded on plate to attach to. For the jack replacement, I recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack - Weld On - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,200 lbs # FXP10W0301. This is the highest capacity jack with the bolt-thru option and a caster wheel on the bottom. It has a zinc plating for corrosion resistance and has a 6 inch thermoplastic wheel included. It...

  • Can Fulton Jack FXP10 Attach to 2x4 inch Trailer Frame
Your trailer frame might be a bit too thin for the Fulton jack part # FXP10 to fit directly, but what you can do is use a metal spacer to make the frame a bit thicker so that the jack can attach to it. Or you can use the weld on bracket part # P9012-00 which will replace the bolt on bracket and allow you to attach the jack directly to the trailer.

  • Mount Recommendation for the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack with Dual 7 Wheels # F1413040134
The Fulton F2 Swing-Up, Wide-Track Trailer Jack, 8" Single Wheel, Sidewind, Bolt-On - 1,600 lbs # F1413040134 is a great jack and I have an option for you to be able to install it on your trailer, but it would not mount to a mount like the part # P9012-00. Instead, you would need to remove that mount and install a # F500277 in its place.

  • Bracket to Install Fulton XLT Jack on Mastercraft Boat Trailer
The Fulton jack part # F141132 that you referenced is a really great jack that I know you'll be happy with, but it requires the bracket part # P9012-00 to mount to a trailer which isn't the same as what you have now. So your best option is to remove the bracket you have now and install the # P9012-00 and you'd be set. You'd need to find a local welder to have them cut off the old bracket and install the new one. It would be a super painless install for them too.

We do not currently have a jack with a 5-1/2" x 3" bolt pattern to match the bolt pattern on your welded plate. I have measured a few different jacks to double check fit. I recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack w/ Caster - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,200 lbs Item # FXP10. Fits 3" x 5" frames and does not require any drilling into the frame. Yes, if you have mount # P9012-00 already then you can simply bolt trailer jack # FXP10W0301 or Shelby 5764A to it using that center stud and nut. Nothing else would be needed. That is assuming of course that your mount is complete and you are just switching out an old jack for the new one.

The Wide Wheel # F1413040134 version of the F2 works on gravel. It will obviously be harder to move on gravel than on a flat surface, but we have customer reviews on both that either say or show that they have used it on gravel and it works well. The dual wheels should be easier to maneuver altogether so I recommend going that route.
