The shank here will slide right into your 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. You can see it does have the hitch pin hole here, but they do not include a hitch pin and clip or a lock, you probably already have one for your hitch, but if not, it's just your standard 5/8 inch diameter pin hole there, so you can use a 5/8 inch inch diameter pin and clip. This right here is the Draw-Tite draw bar trailer ball mount. This is gonna be for your inch and a quarter hitches. It's only gonna be compatible with a class two hitch. Comes with a hitch pin and clip, and if you do end up losing this the hole diameter is gonna be a half an inch so just match it up with that and I do suggest getting just a lock for this thing, just in case someone has sticky fingers and tries to take it. We have a lot on our site that I recommend that you use. When it comes to a inch and a quarter ball mount it really took us a lot of time to figure out which one's gonna be best for your vehicle. more

It has a 12,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this is a shock absorbing drawbar mount, uses the bumper stop technology to reduce road shock, provides a more comfortable towing experience. Basically the channel mouth pivots right on this bolt right down here, up against the dual bump stop right up here at the top, and it absorbs any road shock, provides a nice smooth tow. Also, if you notice on the end here of this pivot bolt, it does have a grease cert fitting. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt ball Mount. Now this one has an eight inch drop and also a six inch rise, depending on which way that you orientate it and the way that you mount your ball. Right now we have it in the rise position. Now this is gonna mount into your two inch hitch receiver and what's really nice is that it's gonna give you 11 and a half inches from the hitch pin hole to the center where you mount your ball, and that's gonna extend this out making sure that the trailer doesn't make contact with the vehicle when hooking up. Now as far as weight capacity goes it depends on which way that you have it mounted. So in our rise position this is gonna give us a gross trailer weight rating of 3,500 pounds, which is the weight of the trailer plus the accessories loaded up. more

This will let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes, and to switch the balls, you just simply remove the two pins and clips, flip the ball platform, and then reinsert the pins, pretty simple to do. Just to show you here, we're gonna pop out the clips, and then with the clips out, we'll just slide out the bottom pin, and I also wanna mention the pins here, it does give you two 5/8 inch diameter corrosion resistant hardened steel pins, they do feature a nice nickel under coat and then a zinc plating top coat for best corrosion resistance. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this TowSmart Ball Mount for two inch hitches. This is going to allow you to hook your trailer up to your tow vehicle. It will slide right into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. It does have your standard 5/8 inch diameter pin hole there, so while it does not include the pin and clip, you probably already have one for your hitch, so just pass that standard 5/8 inch pin through there, and that'll keep it from wiggling its way out. And then our ball platform is gonna provide the mounting point for the hitch ball. more
