Low Profile Cargo Box and Crossbar Recommendation for 2013 Land Rover LR4
Question:
Im trying to get something for ski season that allows the car to fit in our garage. The Thule Motion XT Alpine seems to be the least tall box, and the TH7602/7603 with fit kit 3112 seem to be the least tall cross bars that would work with the factory tracks I have. The OEM bars are very tall. The garage is a standard 7 feet. Can you tell me how tall this Thule combination would be? I cant find a height for the bar set-up, just the 12-1/4 inches for the box. Thanks.

Installing the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack, # TH7602-TH7603, and Thule Fit Kit for Podium Style Foot Pack, # THKIT3112, will increase the height of your 2013 Land Rover LR4 approximately 3 inches.
As you stated, the Thule Motion XT Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, # TH629506, measures 12-1/4 inches at it's tallest point from the top of the crossbars. This cargo box combined with the roof rack system will add approximately 15-1/4 inches to the height of your LR4.
