I have a Set-to-go 878XT Thule kayak holderinch on my 2002 Chevy Suburban on the factory rack that I use to carry my 2 kayaks. I am considering purchasing a 2017 Ford F150 Super Crew 4x2 truck. I see you have a 2017 Ford F-150 Roof Rack by Thule. I saw your video on installing the rack for an F150. 1. Can you tell me if I obtain the above rack system for a 2017 F150 truck how tall the rack system be from the top of the truck roof? I want to make sure this truck and the Thule rack will fit in my garage height clearance issues. 2. Would my Set-to-go 878XT Thule kayak holderinch work on the above Thule rack system? Thanks, just trying make sure my new vehicle will fit in my garage with a rack on.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Roof Rack by Thule has been updated and now includes the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 60" Long # TH711520, Thule Evo Clamp Foot Pack # TH710501, and Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit # TH145177 has a measurement of just under 5 inches from the top of the roof to the top of the rack. I recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4 # TH450400 to secure this rack to your truck.

These bars are compatible with your Thule Set-To-Go Rooftop Kayak Saddle - 1/2 System TH878XT which requires a 24 inch bar spread.
