Is there aTrailer Hitch for a 2007 BMW 328xi Sedan and Options for Carrying a Bike
Question:
Will this hitch fit my 2007 BMW 328xi sedan? I will use it predominately for a bike rack. I may decide to tow a trailer on rare occasion in which case I would only need the brake light wiring harness? Assuming I get the ball at the same time. Is there a package or advantage to getting the ball etc at the same time? Thanks

We have several options for you to carry your bikes.
The Curt Hitch # C11033 will fit your 2007 BMW 328xi sedan. This would be my recommendation for carrying Bicycles. You could then choose a bike rack like the Curt C18085 to carry 1 or 2 bikes. There is no advantage to purchasing a ballmount and trailer wiring before you need it, but you certainly can do so if you want to.
You could also add a roof rack. You will need 3 items for a roof rack. First, Thule Rapid Podium Roof Mounted Foot Pack, # TH460R. Next, Thule Fit Kit for Podium Style Foot Pack, # THKIT3028. Finally, the SquareBars, # TH712200. You could then add Thule UpRide Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Wheel Hook, # TH599000, to carry a bike. I have included the instructions to this product below.
Finally you could also use a rear mounted trunk rack like the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier Trunk Mounted Bike Rack, # TH910. There are some specific instructions that need to be followed with this rack and your vehicle. Place top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk, hatch, or door. Place lower clips in the bottom edge of trunk or hatch. The lower arm of carrier should be positioned on upper tier of the bumper. And it will need to be set at setting 7. I have included the instructions for this rack below.
