Recommended Trailer Hitch And Ball Mount for 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I spoke with my contacts at our suppliers about your 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid and a trailer hitch. They told me there is no difference when installing a trailer hitch and the fit should be just fine.

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C12091. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. I have attached a link to an installation video you can check out.

For a ball mount I recommend part # C45016. This ball mount has a 2-5/8 inch rise or 3-1/4 inch drop and measures 9-3/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.

For a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19256, and for a 2 inch ball I recommend part # 19258.

If trailer wiring is needed for your Fusion, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118574. This plugs into the connection points behind the Fusion tail lights, and after running a hot lead to the battery gives you a 4-way connector at the rear of your vehicle. I have attached a link to an installation video for this wiring harness you can take a look at.

When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
