Question:

Help! Please! I have a Tuff Shed Home Depot Built in 2007... The locking Flush Door Latch with inside release with no brand name has a broken locking bolt...It looks like the ones you have, BUT,. Inside mounting is 4 1/4inch x 3,...AND, the locking bolt, broken part sticks out 3 3/4inch !!....long! Do you have one like this? or, can you point me in the right direction....? Home Depot and Tuff Shed have not been able to help. Thank you

All the flush mounted latches we offer are pretty similar, with the differences being size of the hole they install in, the way the metal of the latch is finished, and whether they lock or not.

To determine which latch you need, the best place to start would be to remove the latch and measure the hole it's mounted in. The 'Junior' latches mount in a 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 inch hole. The full sized latch uses a hole 3-3/8 x 4-5/8.

I'm not entirely sure what the 'inside mounting' dimensions you mentioned refer to. If you're speaking of the portion of the latch that would sit in the hole and not the flange, I believe you're speaking of the full-sized latch, part # L3980.
