7-Way Round to 4-Way Flat Adapter Recommendation
Question:
Hi - i have a 7 round pin plug on my truck. I am seeking an adaptor to go to a standard/common 4 flat plug. when I use your fit guide, it only comes out with this: PK11700 which appeared to require wiring/custom work to use But I see a product # 47405 that says its 7 it adapts from 7 pin to 4 flat. Would like to get clarification as Ive purchased adpators elsewhere that have not worked. Specifically, im not getting brake light but tail and turns work fine. What ive purchased/used looks like your 47405 thanks.

As long as the 7-way round you have on your trailer is wired so that the stop/turn circuits are on the same circuits the # 47405 would be perfect for what you are trying to do.
If the 7-way you have is a Euro style that has separate taillight circuits then you would need to make an adapter, but I doubt this is this case.
If your 7-way is wired like the diagram I attached you would be good to go.
