Fit of Thule OutWay # TH45JV on 2012 Toyota Yaris Hatchback

Question:

I have a '12 Toyota Yaris Hatchback. My neighbor has a Thule OutWay bike rack that he constantly raves about, so I'd like to get a two bike model if it will fit my car. Do you know if it will fit?

The OutWay 2 bike Carrier, part # TH45JV does indeed fit your 2012 Yaris. Because it's so easy to use, the Raceway is one of the trunk/hatch mount racks we recommend most often.

If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance.

If your Yaris has a windshield wiper on the rear glass, do not use it with the rack in place.
