Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2012 Ford Escape
Question:
For a 2012 Ford Escape, which hitch is the most hidden?

We do offer several hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2012 Ford Escape.
Of all the hitches we offer I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch, part # 75751. This hitch is a Class lll hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening.
When I checked out the photos of the hitches we offer that fit your Escape, this one appears to be the least conspicuous. Due to the design of the vehicles it is difficult to find a hitch that is really concealed.
If you plan on towing with your Escape, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, part # 989900. This kit contains 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, a pin and clip and a storage bag. I have attached a product review video for this kit you can take a look at.
for trailer lighting, I recommend the T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118551. Installation is quick and easy by using the connection points behind the tail lights, then running a hit lead to the battery. You may want to check out the attached installation video for this harness.
When working with electrical connectors, I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
