7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2006 Nissian Xterra
Question:
So what exactly do I need to hook up a 7 way connector to my 2006 nissian xterra? I just bought a pop up trailer and the trailer has trailer brakes so I need a seven way connector. I have been looking at these products and questioning whether they will work for me or not. Thanks

To install a 7-way on your 2006 Nissan Xterra that currently doesn't have a trailer connector you would want the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118266. This comes with everything needed to install the 7-way.
Next you will need a brake controller and an install harness.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
The correct harness you would need to install the controller would be the part # 3050-P. I attached an install video for this harness for you to check out as well.
