Question:
A couple of questions: What is the diameter of the pipe inlet? Can I use it on a 3-inch PVC vent for a composting toilet? What is the max CFM?

According to my technical contact at Ultra-Fab their Solar-Powered Plumbing Vent Cap # UF53-945001 is intended to provide a continuous low-level vacuum on an RV plumbing vent. It does not carry a specific cubic-feet-per-minute (CFM) rating as the motor unit employed is fairly modest in size. The fan generates a moderate air pressure only; you will not feel the air flow with your hand, for example, even when the fan is operating.
This unit installs by securing its mounting flange with the 5 supplied screws over the vent tube, typically on a flat trailer roof. Silicone sealant (not included) like # 0160297 is recommended as well to prevent loss of pressure.
