Can Thule Transporter Tilting Cargo Carrier # TH665C Be Used on the Back of RV
Question:
I want to use it on my RV, how much dose it tilt so can get to my storage in the back of RV. Also, how long dose it take to get it?

The Thule Transporter Hitch-Mount Cargo Carrier # TH665C tilts back about 5-inches from its normal transport position as shown in the linked diagram. However, this hitch-mount carrier is intended for use only on the back of automobiles, not on RVs. If mounted on the back of an RV it would be subjected to forces that could damage it. The longer the distance from the rear axle to the back of the RV the more stresses will be placed on any hitch-mount item.
While we do offer specialty bike racks approved for use on the back of an RV or motor home, such as the Swagman Original # S64400, we do not have any standard hitch-mount cargo carriers that are strong enough for such use.
