Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 Install in a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
I have purchased the P3 controller and need to install on a Chrysler Town and Country, 2014, with complete factory-installed trailer towing package including 7-pin connector. There does not appear to be a connector under the dash for the controller that is pre-installed by the factory. I have been unable to obtain any wiring diagrams for the factory wiring in order to know whether there is a fused 12V battery wire under the dash for the controller, and where the blue wire from the 7-pin connector terminates on the vehicle. That is, does the blue wire terminate at the 7-pin connector, under the hood, or all the way under the dash. Any knowledge of the factory wiring would be greatly beneficial.

I was unable to determine if there is any wiring provisions for installing a brake controller in your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. The best recommendation I could make would be to check the back of the 7-way at the rear of your vehicle for wiring at the brake output circuit. This will be the circuit that is in the 5:00 position as you are looking into the connector. If there is a wire there you will want to trace it back to see where it terminates.
Otherwise you will need to hardwire the controller like the FAQ article I attached to the right details.
