Trailer Tire Recommendation for a 15k Trailer with 16 inch Trailer Rims

Question:

I recently purchased Provider ST tire F835 for my 15,000 pound GVW trailer. Is this a adequate tire? Is another better? Trailer has four tires

I did some research on the Provider ST Tire F835 that you have, and it looks like the tire has a 4,080 lb capacity when inflated to 110 psi. Based on that you would have a total of 16,320 lbs of tire capacity since you have 4 tires on your setup. That should be enough capacity for you since you have a 15k GVW.

The only option we have that would be pretty close to that would be the Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10501. This has a 3,960 lb capacity when inflated to 95 psi which would give you a total of 15,840 lbs of capacity which would also work for you. Since we don't carry the F835 and are unaware of it's reputation I would have a hard time recommending it for anyone. I would recommend the # AM10501.
