Recommended Trailer Hitch and Accessories for Towing Small Trailer With a 2014 Honda Accord Sedan
Question:
I want to purchase a hitch for my 2014 honda accord sedan. What are all the components needed for pulling a small 4x4 trailer? Thanks

Let's begin with the hitch. I'd recommend the Curt # C11496.
You'll then need a trailer connector, but the one you need will depend on whether your Accord has the LED or incandescent taillights. If you have the LED lamps, use the Curt # C56173 wiring harness. If you have incandescent taillights, use Tow Ready # 118596.
Finally, you'll need a ball mount and a trailer ball. A trailer of the size you describe likely uses a 1-7/8 inch ball, like part # 19256. For a 2 inch ball, use part # 19258.
Before attempting to tow with the vehicle, be sure to check with your owner's manual or with Honda regarding the towing capacity of your Accord.
