You will need to follow the 4-Way harness forward underneath your 2014 Ford F-150. It should plug into another harness that continues to the front of the vehicle.
If you can find the harness the 4-Way plugs into then test the wiring in it using a circuit tester, such as # PTW2993. There should be a wire that has 12 volts of power all the time and another wire, likely blue, that is for output to the trailer brakes.
You would use # 37185 to add a 7-Way. The black wire on it is for the 12-volt circuit and the blue wire is for trailer brakes. White grounds to the truck frame. Purple is for reverse lights but if the trailer doesn't have reverse lights, it can be taped up and stowed out of the way.
