Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Westin Fey Chrome Plated Steel Diamond Step Rear Bumper with the custom installation kit. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1987 to 1992 Jeep Comanche vehicles, and on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, shows you if this will work for your application. Now, this is a replacement rear bumper, this will create a nice, sturdy step, so that you can access your truck bed with ease. This does match the factory specifications to fit your vehicle styling, and it adds both utility and rugged good looks to your vehicle. You can see it has nice chrome plating on it, it adds brilliant shine, resist corrosion, and I mentioned the diamond tread step surface.

So if I tilt this, if you look at the very top, the whole top of the bumper's gonna have this diamond tread surface to it, this'll provide traction when you're getting into and out of your truck bed. Also, if you noticed right here in the middle, has the three integrated ball holes. This will make towing easier, you just add a hitch ball to the hole, usually add it to the center hole, and then you'll use the two holes, one on each side, for the safety chain hookups. Now, the hitch ball's not included, you would have to buy that separately, we do sell that on our website, you do wanna get a hitch ball, has a shank diameter of 3/4 inch, which is the diameter of this hitch ball hole right here. This is a nice cold rolled steel, it's very strong and sturdy.

Also, if you noticed, it includes the license plate lights right here with the wiring harness and the bulbs. These will just go into the openings right there, and then you use your metal clips there to attach it, hold them into place. Put your bulbs with the wiring harness into there, and then using the connectors that they include, you can tap it into the running lights to give you lights for your license plate. If you noticed, there are two square holes right here also that'll accept these plastic inserts with the screws that'll allow you to attach your license plate to the bumper. Now, this is a quick and easy bolt-on installation, there's no drilling required.

The custom brackets right here, they are designed to mount onto your vehicle, comes with the hardware to mount everything. Few specs on this, the towing capacity on this bumper is 3,500 pounds, tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds, that is stamped on the bumper. Last thing is the dimensions, The overall length, one end to the other, is 64 3/4 inches long, the width, seven inches wide, height, 6 1/2 inches tall.
