Troubleshooting Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness # 118266 Install
Question:
I just purchased a Part #118266 Nissan Tow Package wiring harness w/relays- 7 Way. The installation went perfect, everything was as described in the instructions. My problem is that after the installation the passenger side window would not roll up, and the power door locks would not operate. I removed the 12 pin jumper with relays connected the original 12 pin plug back up and all worked fine. Is there a problem with my wiring or could I have gotten a bad relay in the kit? Please help, other wise everything worked as specified for the trailer hook up.

Okay, I think I have a suspicion about what might have happened.... the jumper harness should be plugged into an EMPTY connector, as shown in the photo I've edited for you. You shouldn't have had to unplug anything to plug the jumper in. What you've unplugged is the wiring harness for the passenger side door.
Did your vehicle already have a 4-pole connector on it, or did it have no connector at all?
If it already has a 4-pole, the jumper harness is already in place behind the toe kick in the passenger side foot well, which means that there's no empty connectors, which explains why you are scratching your head. You can just plug the 7-way in at the rear of the vehicle per instructions and you'll be good to go. In other words, you should have ordered the # 118267, but what you have should work fine.
If it didn't already have a 4-pole, look for an empty connector right at the carpet as shown in the photo. The connector might have been pushed partially behind edge of the carpet, so you might need to poke around for it a bit.
