Reese Elite Series # RP30138-26 Underbed Fifth Wheel Rails/Gooseneck Hitch for 2014 Ford F250 Diesel
Question:
I have a 2014 F250 Diesel 6 3/4 bed. Is RP30138-26 the right part number for the equivalent Ford factory prep package? My friend has the factory installed prep package and I am planning on using his 5th wheel trailer. My thought is that I could install RP30138-26 and then use his 5th wheel hitch. Also, what about an in-bed wiring harness.

I wanted to make sure the DEF tank on your Diesel wouldn't cause fit issues, and Reese assured me that the Reese Underbed Install Rail Kit, part # RP30138-26 is indeed compatible with your 2014 Ford F250.
If your friend's fifth wheel hitch fits the pucks provided by the Ford prep package, it'll fit the pucks provided by the # RP30138-26 you asked about.
For wiring, I'd recommend the Hopkins Endurance # 41157. The wiring harness would plug inline with the wiring harness feeding the 7-way at your rear bumper. I've linked a video showing this harness being installed on a 2014 F250.
