Will Installing a Trailer Hitch on a 2013 Honda Fit Void the Warranty
Question:
I have heard there are concerns about driling new holes etc causes warranty to be voided. Any commnents? 2013 Honda Fit so I still have 2 years full warranty left

Consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. The Act states that if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever modifications you have added to your vehicle actually caused the problem in question.
With that said you will want to check the vehicle owners manual for your 2013 Honda Fit. It may say specifically not to install a trailer hitch and if so then I cannot advise installing a hitch (even though they are available due to high demand).
You could call a dealer or Honda corporate but they are likely to tell you not to install a hitch or to only install a Honda dealer hitch. The owners manual is the first place to look.
If you want a hitch to carry bikes or cargo, let me know because there are other options.
