Comparing the Swagman XC Part # S64650 and the Swagman XTC Part # S64670
Question:
Hi, I have a 2007 Honda Fit. I am purchasing a bike rack for the first time and it will be used to transport one bike across the US. Will the XC2 work well for this purpose? What are the real differences between the XC2 and the XTC2? Many thanks,

The main difference between the Swagman XC part # S64650 and the Swagman XTC part # S64670 is the wheel hoops. The wheel hoops that come with the XC can accommodate a bike with tires up 3.5" wide and spaced 51-1/2" apart on center (wheelbase). The Swagman XTC can accommodate a bike with tires up 2.5" wide and spaced 66" apart on center (wheelbase).
Therefore, if you have a bike with a longer wheelbase >66" then you are going to want to use the XTC but if you have a bike with a shorter wheelbase <51-1/2" then you get away with the more cost effective option in the Swagman XC. However, either option will work well to transport your bike on the back of your Fit. I also recommend using the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable part # S64031 which will protect both the bike and rack from theft.
In order to use either of these bike racks you are also going to need a trailer hitch and for this I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24776 which is a custom fit for your 2007 Honda Fit and will not require any drilling.
I have attached review videos on both bike racks and the lock for you as well.
