A Class II trailer hitch would have enough towing capacity to pull your pop up camper, but we will want to make sure your 2007 Chrysler Town and Country is capable of towing that weight. According to the owners manual, your Town and Country would only have enough towing capacity to pull your camper if it came with a factory tow package. If it did not come with a tow package, the maximum towing capacity is 1,800 lbs.

To determine if your van came with the tow package, I recommend contacting your local Chrysler dealership with your VIN. The tow package may not necessarily consist of a trailer hitch and trailer wiring, so contacting a dealer is the best way to determine how your van is equipped.

If your Town and Country has the factory tow package and you just need to add a trailer hitch and wiring harness, I recommend going with a Class III trailer hitch over a Class II. If you have Stow-N-Go seating, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75305. If you do not have Stow-N-Go seating, then you can use part # 75119. I have attached installation videos for both of these trailer hitches for you to check out.

For a ball mount, it is important to choose a ball mount with the correct rise or drop to tow your trailer level. If you can tell me the coupler height of your trailer (the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler) when the trailer is level and the hitch ball size required by the coupler, I would be happy to recommend a ball mount and hitch ball setup for you.

Finally, you will just need a wiring harness. Chrysler does not recommend splicing a harness into your vehicles tail light wiring, so I recommend using a plug-in style harness like the Tow Ready T-One Harness, # 118300. I have also attached an installation video for this.
