Can Trailer Tires be Plugged or Patched
Question:
Is plugging a 5th wheel tire an acceptable practice? Im not sure with the high tire pressures and extreme weight that plugging would be wise.

I have a co-worker who has patched or plugged trailer tires before without any issues. If the hole is on the sidewall or corner between the tread and sidewall you would not be able to patch it.
Patching or plugging a trailer tire is a temporary solution though and the tire should be replaced as soon as you are able to do so.
