Replacement Hitch Ball to Increase Ball Height
Question:
I need a 2 inch tow ball with a 1 inch shank. Right now, the height of my tow ball is 2 3/8 inches. I need one that is 3 3/8 inch, appx 1 inch taller. I see that you have different heights but no description of height above the hitch. Not sure if what I have is standard and therefore, I would need hitch described as 1 inch higher. Please let me know. Thanks.

It is always important to keep your trailer level when hitched to your tow vehicle and the two simplest ways to accomplish this are either a high-rise hitch ball such as the two you reviewed, parts # C40033 and # C40034, or a ball mount with the amount of rise you need. Either option will work.
The hitch balls you referenced are shown in the linked photo; I have added the dimension above the mounting surface for each ball.
If you have a 2-inch hitch receiver and want to use your existing hitch ball you can simply replace the ball mount with one that has 1-inch of rise. The link provided will show you all ball mounts for 2-inch receivers that have 1-inch of rise, such as the B&W # BWBMHD30010.
