Expert Reply:
If your truck if a long-bed you should be fine using the original pin box supplied on your 5th wheel trailer.
Short-bed trucks can sometimes need a replacement Sidewinder pin box to provide enough turning clearance but this concern does not usually affect long beds.
When needed a replacement pin box for a 5th wheel trailer can be selected based on the existing pin box brand and number. This information can be found on the safety sticker on your existing pin box. For reference an article on Sidewinders is linked.
