Will a Thule Roof Mount Cargo Bag Fit a 2013 Honda Pilot with Factory Roof Rack
Question:
Hi. I am taking a trip with 6 people in my 13 Honda Pilot with factory roof rack and need to put some luggage on roof. My issue is the cross bars are only 28 inches apart...and the bag in question is 40inch long. I guess I assumed the rack would be bigger in such a large vehicle. Without spending a fortune on a hard system, is it possible to make a soft bag fit?...or do you have any recommendations on what to do? Thanks.

You have some options for using a cargo bag on your 2013 Honda Pilot. First, you can use Thule bag # TH869 and it will sag in the middle with the ends propped on the crossbars. You will just need to place a protective pad, # RL100650, between the roof and the bag.
The other option is to install a cargo basket like the Thule Canyon XT, # TH859XT.
