Collin: Hi everyone, it's Collin here at etrailer and today we're going to take a look at these grab handles from Rhino-Rack. This is for their Pioneer Platform rack. Basically what these are going to be for is can mount them into the T slot of your Pioneer rack, wherever is convenient for you. Their primary function is going to be just to be a handle for you so you can grab on, pull yourself up, make any adjustments up here with your cargo without having to reach up and kind of wrap around this sidebar right here. This just gives easy access and a nice grip so you can climb up, grab whatever you might need. Now this is a nice and simple addition you can throw onto your Pioneer rack that'll just make life a little bit easier.

It's also going to be a really durable aluminum construction for the handles, which honestly at first I thought they we're plastic.Just looking at the pictures and seeing them in the package. Once I pulled them out, I was kind of surprised that they we're that durable. It's the same construction as their Pioneer rack itself. So it's going to resist rust and corrosion and be very durable and it does have a 265 pound weight limit per handle.We've adjusted the grab handles to be used for tie down points. Now we have the other one installed on the other side of the bag.

They make for a great tie down point. As you can see our bag is very secure and when you take it off, you can readjust the handles, you can leave them how they are. It's a very versatile addition to the Pioneer rack.Now real quick, I'll show you guys had to get this installed. First of all, you do want to choose the location on your Pioneer rack where you want it and then you just need to drop these two bolts down through. There's a lock washer and a flat washer on it and then all we're going to do is thread our T slot square right there on.

There we go. Now once we thread it on, what we'll do is just get them both installed into the T slot. You want to make sure you have it facing the correct direction, it goes right in. Then the next one, all the way to the location. We're going to stop about right there and we'll grab the included tool and then just tighten it down, and then you want to repeat all this for the other handle.Now you can see right here both of them are secure, so now you're ready to either use them as a handle right here or even to just use them as a tie down point to get your cargo secured.Well, thank you all for watching.
