The only hitch extension we offer that is compatible with weight distribution hitches is the Titan Hitch Box Extension and Reducer # RP45292. This product is designed to fit hitches with a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening and then reduces down to a 2 inch hitch opening. This means you will need a hitch with a 2-1/2 inch opening and a weight distribution system designed for a 2 inch opening. Without knowing what vehicle you have I cannot recommend a hitch, but I did attach a page that has all of the weight distribution systems we offer designed to fit 2 inch hitches.

This extension can be used in a 24 inch or 34 inch configuration. In the 24 inch length has a rating 8,000 lbs total trailer weight.

Is this still the only hitch extension for weight distribution and sway control hitch? I have a 2" receiver and need 6 to 12 inches for the more clearance so the tow vehicle tailgate will clear the Jack when opened.

Yes, standard hitch extenders just aren't rated for the type of force that a weight distribution system puts on the connection. A potential solution is with a longer WD shank. The Curt # C17122 has an extended shank that provides 14" of length between the hitch pin hole and adjustment holes.
