Question:
Hi, I am looking for a hitch for my 2006 Toyota Hilux D4D. Do you know if the Tacoma hitch will fit it as well? Thanks

From my research, I found that one of the primary differences between the Hilux and Tacoma is the frame at the rear of the truck. Since this is where the hitch attaches to the vehicle, the fact that the frame is different would affect the fit of the hitch.
None of our hitch manufacturers have test fit a hitch meant for a Tacoma on a Hilux, since they're not available in the US. Because of this, they couldn't give me a definitive answer.
