Will Fifth Wheel to Goosneck Adapter Part # CAB-C5G Fit with 3 Inches Between Ball and Kingpin

from the top of my ball to the bottom of the kingpin is 3. What do I need to make this work?

In order to tow your fifth wheel trailer on a gooseneck hitch with an adapter, you need to take a different measurement.
After backing the vehicle under the trailer, measure from the top of the ball on the truck to the base of the pin box on the trailer. The adapters we offer are 12, 14 or 16 inch. If the measurement from the top of your ball to the base of the pin box is not one of the above, then you will need to consider other options.
You could either use a fifth wheel hitch to tow the trailer, or you can have the trailer converted to a gooseneck.
