Hey Desirerme, so the Curt Echo # C51180 did have some initial problems when the switched it over to the OneControl app which was super annoying, but have you tried checking to see if they have a newer version of the app you can download? A lot of times you can fix this issue by updating to newest version of the app.

Once I was able to get the Echo brake controller connected via the app, after connecting the trailer 7 pin the app doesn't recognize that the trailer is connected. App is the most current version available.

I actually figured it out after getting out of the 114° sun here in Phoenix. The brake controller was connected to the vehicle and the trailer like we usually do, but Since we were using the new app for first time, I was supposed to set up the controller before connecting the trailer, I've set it up and tomorrow I will go and connect the trailer and see if it works now, had the leave the trailer at the service center. I'll let you know if it worked. Thanks!! Desiree
