Comparing Curt Trailer Hitches for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
I was looking to install a CURT hitch on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I noticed that both C13065 and C13182 fit my vehicle. I noticed the design looks slightly different. One has a round tube and the other is a square tube. However the loading capability for the hitch appears the same. What is the difference between the two hitches for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The difference between Curt trailer hitches # C13065 and # C13182 is basically how visible each one is once installed on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you want the most hidden trailer hitch then go with # C13065. Only the receiver is visible as you can see in the picture I have provided.
For hitch # C13182, part of the cross tube will also be visible along with the receiver.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring you can use # 118425 which plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring.
I have linked videos showing the installation of hitch # C13065 and the wiring for you.
