Hey there haulers. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at Erickson's bungee cords, with aluminum carabiners. These are available in three sizes, 19 and 3/4 of an inch, 24 inches and 36 inches. These bungee cords are very similar to your traditional bungee cords, you're gonna get that same elastic feel to 'em and stretchiness. The only difference is the added security of the carabiner. Now you can feel secure that your hook's not gonna come off when you're going down the road.
Just like your standard carabiner, they have a spring-loaded gate. That's gonna latch shut, making sure that it doesn't come loose from our eyelet here. Because they're aluminum, they're gonna be rust-proof, so they're gonna hold up well to the elements. These are great in a situation like we're using it today with our Erickson heavy duty tarp to secure down the load and our utility trailer. I will say that unlike open hook designs, the carabiner design does make it difficult to get around certain attachment points like thicker rails on a cargo carrier.
Here I've got the 36 inch cord in use, securing our tarp around our utility trailer, but they're also great for cargo carriers, ladder racks, and even roof racks. These are ideal for your light duty applications. So, maybe securing some luggage in the cargo basket on your roof rack system, or like we're using it here for our tarp. I wouldn't go tying down a generator to the cargo basket on my camper or anything like that, but if you keep it light duty, you're gonna be very happy with these. And that completes our look at Erickson's bungee cord, with attached aluminum carabiners..

Little shorter than expected and only time will tell how long the stretch will last.
These stretch cords with carabineer hooks are made very well. I purchased two to secure my cargo new to my hitch cargo carrier. They work perfectly well.
The bungee cords we purchased are great, and are exactly as described. We used them to secure balcony furniture to the railing, as high winds cause the furniture to shift. We no longer have to worry; the cords are holding the furniture in place!
Great product, the bungee clips will safely secure my bike to a bike hanger I just installed. Thanks guys.

Great product. Durable...I bought 6 of them to use on my kayaks and not one of them has broken in over 1 year of use.
