How Does the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G Attach to a Pin Box
Question:
if the collar on top of the 5th wheel pin lip, then the gooseneck hitch part has a 1 inch or so gap between the top of the gooseneck hitch and the bottom plate of the 5th wheel hich pin plate on the trailer? how is it supposed to fit?

The top plate portion of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G will mount flush to the bottom plate of the trailer's pin box. The collar goes around the king and attaches to it with the set screws. The main body of the adapter attaches to the collar by the tightening of the cap screws to the collar.
