Recommended Crossbars for the Truck Bed of a 2022 Ram 1500

Hello, I have a 2022 RAM 1500 Rebel with Yakima Landing Pads 1 installed on my tonneau cover. However, Im not really sure what length of Yakima HD Crossbars to purchase? 78 or 68? I want the perfect fit so that the crossbars do not extend outside the sides of the bed width. Can you recommend the optimum length? Thanks and Regards,

The exterior width of the 2022 Ram 1500's bed is 82.1". You'll be able to go with the longer 78" Yakima HD Crossbars item # Y01159.

Hello again, Dave. It is possible to mount the Yakima Ladder Roller #Y01163 upside down. We would not want the weight of the kayak on the roller during transport, but since you are using it just to load onto the J carriers it will be just fine.
