Using Load Range G Tires With Reese Airborne Sidewinder on 2014 Crossroads Cruiser 35SS

Question:

I have a Reese Airborne Sidewinder king pin that I bought from you on my 2014 Crossroads Cruiser 35SS. The trailer has E rated tires that I want to switch to G rated tires. The manual to the Reese says “ Use E rated tires.” Does that mean don’t use less than E rated tires too weak, or don’t use G rated tires too hard and bouncy? Would a higher rated tire be a problem?

Looking back at your previous questions it looks like you had some blowouts with Load Range E tires. Reese is just making a recommendation under their safe towing guidelines. They didn't make your trailer and they don't know the specs. Load Range G tires like the # PRG80235 are perfectly fine to use.
