Will Sport Rack Spare Tire Mount Rack A30813STL Fit a 1994 Dodge 250 Full Size Van? If not, do you have a rack that will fit and carry 3 - 4 bikes?

The mounting bracket measures 4-1/4 inches from the back of the plate to the back of the upright on the rack. Make sure this is enough distance to clear the spare tire. You would measure from the flat sheet metal where the spare tire studs are attached and measure out through the center hole of the wheel until you clear the tire.

If you should find that the SportRack model will not work for you, The Yakima SpareRide 2, # Y02599 comes with two different extensions to fit oversized spare tires. The SpareRide can also be adjusted so that the arms the bikes are suspended from can be offset, so that the bikes will be centered on the rear of the van.

For womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # Y02531 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike is not carried at an angle.
