Can 4.80-12 Tires Be Upgraded to 5.30-12 Tires
Question:
I took my tires and rims off of my boat trailer, they are 4.80x12. My question is , can I go back with 5.3x12 new tires and rims or do I need to stick with the 4.8 x12s.

The 5.30-12 tires, like the Kenda Bias Trailer Tire # AM30790 you were looking at, have about a 1-1/2" larger diameter than your 4.80-12 tires, so if your fender can accommodate 3/4" more tire and still retain 2" of height clearance (to account for suspension travel) you'll be good to go!
